Buddha and Plants - 30x40

Ever since the Grace Jones painting, I've wanted to create something else with plants. I had black canvas and couldn't figure out what to put on it. Then I thought about how the green leaves could really stand out against the black. I revisited this painting throughout months. It was always my peace when I felt like I needed to walk away from pieces that I felt frustrated with. I'm sad it's over, but it brings me joy to see all of the colors.
