My dad's love for Jimi Hendrix is what inspired me to create this piece. His maroon jacket, "watercolor" shirt and blue-gemmed hat are complimented by a real, yellow feather that break the border of the both the painting and frame.
Jimi is set against a space background, inhabited by a red and green nebula. It is the first in my Supernatural Series.
