Warrior Rising Print

Warrior Rising was initially a commisioned piece. The client requested a portrait of a strong woman with a nod to both Native Americana nd African heritage. 
 
I decided to create a warrior over top of a beautiful African pattern (created through inspiration). The pattern is made up of gold marker and green paint. There are also words of affirmation and strength written in between the designs. 
 
The warrior's chestpiece is made up of beads. It was very peaceful to create the beads.
